The RTR Mustang Comes to the EcoBoost Car, at a Price Owners Can Reach

· 1 min read

For 2026, Ford has put the RTR name on the Mustang that opens the lineup, building this special edition on the EcoBoost car. Car and Driver's staff drove it, and they report that the entry-level Mustang has a good deal more spirit in RTR form. What matters to owners is the price: this is a distinct, named Mustang that buyers can afford, not one built for a few. For anyone who follows the marque's special editions, it is one to note on the 2026 list.

With reporting from Car and Driver.
