Subaru's 2027 Forester Wilderness Goes Hybrid, Without a Price Hike

· 1 min read

For the 2027 model year, Subaru is holding Forester pricing steady even as it pares back the number of gas-only trims on offer. Filling part of that gap is a new Wilderness Hybrid, bringing hybrid power to the Forester's off-road-focused trim for the first time. The change leaves the compact SUV's lineup smaller but more hybrid-leaning, with no added cost to the buyer.
