Ten Examples, Nearly 900 Horsepower: Brabus Turns the G-Wagen Into an Open-Air Collectible
Brabus has built a convertible version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and the tuning house is putting a hard number on how rare it will be: just ten examples, worldwide. The open-top 4x4 is said to produce close to 900 horsepower, a figure that puts it well ahead of any standard G-Class variant on the road. For a body style that Mercedes itself has never offered on the current G-Wagen, a production run that small all but guarantees the car becomes a fixture on collector want-lists the moment deliveries begin. We have not driven it, and we won't speculate on what one might command when the first of the ten changes hands.
