Toyota's New Go-Kart Trades the Trailer for the Minivan

Toyota has introduced a gasoline-powered go-kart priced at $2,500. Built around a 215cc engine, it is compact enough to fit inside a minivan, and the automaker says it was designed with ordinary families in mind rather than dedicated racers. The dimensions matter as much as the price tag: a kart sized to ride home in the back of a minivan is one a family can actually own without a dedicated trailer or storage bay. It is a small machine built around a simple premise — get it home, and get it back out again.
