Volkswagen's New Efficiency Prototype Finally Makes Room for Passengers
Volkswagen has built a striking new prototype designed to see how far a single charge can carry a car, picking up where the teardrop-shaped XL1 left off. Called Mission Efficiency, the car borrows its electric motor and battery pack from the ID.Polo. Unlike the two-seat XL1, this prototype adds a back seat, opening the efficiency exercise to more than one occupant.
