The Jockey Club's Top Operating Post Will Change Hands on New Year's Day 2027
Jim Gagliano will step down from The Jockey Club on the first day of 2027. He holds two roles there, president and chief operating officer, and he will leave both. Everett R. Dobson, the organization's chair, made the announcement. The date gives the Thoroughbred world just over three months to prepare for new leadership in one of American racing's central offices.
