Plutarch Leads the Post Parade, Then Wins the Whole Afternoon

Plutarch, the Into Mischief runner who has already placed in Grade I company, did double duty on the Bourbon Flight Stakes card: he opened proceedings by leading the post parade, then closed them by taking the race himself. The stakes fell squarely within National Bourbon Heritage Month, giving the afternoon an extra layer of local ceremony beyond the usual pageantry. For Plutarch, it amounted to a confident comeback — a horse who had already proven himself against top company, back in the winner's circle without missing a step.
