Smuggle's Daughter Hands Klaravich Stables the Miss Grillo

Klaravich Stables won Saturday's Miss Grillo with Domestic Agenda, a 2-year-old filly by American Pharoah, and she was plainly the best in the race. Her pedigree reads well on paper. American Pharoah is her sire, and her dam, Smuggle, is a daughter of Gun Runner, which gives this juvenile two well-known American names on either side of her family. For an owner, a race like the Miss Grillo is an early test of a young filly, and this one passed it with room to spare. Readers who follow the sales catalogs and the stallion barns will want to remember her name and her pedigree.
