Yaupon's Brickyard Belle Makes Good on Her Saratoga Promise in the Matron

· 1 min read

Brickyard Belle is now two for two. The Yaupon runner first won on debut on Aug. 27, sprinting on Saratoga's turf course, a race that earned the "TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard" label. In the Matron, Brickyard Belle backed that up with a strong late run to win again. A second straight win makes the Rising Star label look well earned. It also gives the Yaupon name one more horse to watch.

With reporting from Thoroughbred Daily News.
