Airbnb Gives Hosts a Break for Filling Their Own Rooms

Airbnb is piloting a reduced commission for hosts, from Aspen ski chalets to Hamptons summer cottages, who arrive with a guest already booked rather than relying on the platform to find one. The stay still books and pays out through Airbnb, but a host who brings the business now keeps more of it.
