Eight Front Doors in Boynton Beach, and Every One of Them Is for the Staff
Larry Ellison, the billionaire who cofounded Oracle, has bought eight homes in a single Boynton Beach neighborhood that sits behind a gate. They are for the people who work in his household. Together the eight cost just under $10 million, which averages to about a million and a quarter per house. That means eight driveways, eight sets of keys and eight kitchens. None of it is a showpiece. These are places for a working team to come home to at the end of the day. Boynton Beach sits in the southern part of Palm Beach County. People usually describe it by what's nearby, but this time a buyer of considerable means chose the town for its own sake. Most Florida real estate news is about one buyer going bigger on one property. What stands out here is the number eight.
