Fall Turns Red, Even Where the Leaves Don't
This season's menswear has settled on red, from brick-toned rust to deep wine, and the menswear designers have arrived at a point the people who decorate rooms reached long ago: one red element makes everything around it look sharper. In Florida, where autumn is mostly a date on the calendar, a man can still mark the season with a single piece in one of those shades. In Miami that might mean wearing a lot of it, in Palm Beach just enough, and in Naples a choice so quiet nobody notices it until dinner. Pair it with navy, khaki or white linen and it does the job without drawing attention to itself.
