For the Palm Beach Set's Mountain Months, a Former Murdoch Address in Starwood Asks $29.8 Million

Plenty of households in Palm Beach and Naples run on two calendars, one for the water and one for the mountains, and Aspen has long answered for the second. The address now on the market there was once home to Rupert Murdoch. It sits on two acres inside Starwood, a gated enclave known for keeping its residents' privacy. The asking price is $29.8 million. In Florida terms, two acres behind a gate is a rare kind of room, the sort a Naples buyer would call sensible and a Palm Beach buyer would call a good start. For the reader who already knows which season belongs to which coast, this is a mountain property with a notable name in its past and plenty of ground around it.
