Midtown is getting three new high-end omakase restaurants this autumn, all opening within the same few months. That raises a fair question: can one stretch of Manhattan fill that many seats at the chef's counter at once? For readers who keep a calendar in New York and another in Palm Beach or Naples, it means three more reasons to stay up north a little longer before heading home for the season. If the neighborhood turns out to have the appetite, the chefs will have made their case one course at a time.
