Chad Brown's Name Hangs Over Thursday's $500,000 Flower Bowl

The Flower Bowl Stakes goes to post Thursday as a Grade 2 with a $500,000 purse. That is a serious purse and a graded race, the kind of afternoon that brings out the good fillies and mares and the barns that know how to place them. Chad Brown has already trained winners of this race. His name comes up before the field does. Whatever leaves the gate Thursday, the race will be measured against the trainer who has made it look familiar.
